Clutha Valley School Welcomes a wood pellet boiler as one of a number of sustainable design features in the new school.
Description of facility: 

The new school buildings opened in 2009 and as a community is pleased with the learning benefits from the sustainable design features such as solar water heating, low energy and automatic lighting systems, recycled timber from the old school, and wood-pellet-fired under floor heating which keeps walls free for displays.
