Description of facility: 

Caroline Bay Aquatic Centre is a new complex, comprising a main 25m swimming pool, programme pool, hydroslide, spa pool, paddling pool, plus various exercise rooms, changing rooms, kitchen/café and administration rooms.

The main pool is designed to be heated primarily by an air source heat pump, with additional heat exchanger for the wood boiler to supplement it if it is insufficient to meet the load. The wood boiler is located in a below ground boiler room, with the wood chip store adjacent to it.
