BRANZ hot water supply

BRANZ is an independent reaserch entity and require significant amounts of hot water for labratories and office buildings. The hot water was previously supplied by electric heat pump water heating. It has been replaced by a wood pellet boiler.
Description of facility: 

As part of major redevelopment of its Porirua site, BRANZ selected an ETA HACK pellet boiler, supplied by Spark Energy, to service the hot water requirements for the property. Installed by NME Mechanical of Lower Hutt and with mechanical design by Becas team in Wellington, the new pellet boiler commenced heating the site mid-2011.The new hot water supply is from a 130kW ETA HACK boiler fuelled by wood pellets.
