Nelson College for Girls

A New Wood Fuel Boiler to replace the ageing Coal Boilers
Description of facility:

With two ageing 450kW coal boilers and a local Council focused on improving air quality, the school resolved to introduce wood fired heating to the school as a means to futureproof its heating system for years to come. Following a tender process, Spark Energy was selected to deliver a new heating system anchored by a 540kW KB Pyrot wood chip and pellet boiler.
